“Seiko lenses, precise vision” is the philosophy that Seiko Optical Products has always upheld. With a long history and remarkable achievements, Seiko is well-known in both the Japanese and global eyewear markets. In 1989, Seiko (SEIKO) introduced the world’s first high-refractive-index resin lenses. Building on this foundation, Seiko continued to innovate and, in 1997, created the world’s first inner surface progressive lenses. In 1998, Seiko launched the world’s first double-sided aspheric single vision lenses, featuring a unique 10mm spherical design at the lens center for improved comfort and enhanced visual quality.
